Rob Szarka is the resident "head geek" at Bizgrok. His experience in the computer and Internet field began with Brazerko Communications, a software distributor that provided a publicly accessible BBS system, email and Usenet access in 1995. This grew into a larger business venture in 1997, when Rob started DownCity Internet with JT. DownCity began as full-service Internet Service Provider that focused on providing individuals and businesses dial-up access to the Internet. After growing DownCity's personal dial-up business, Rob & JT made a adecision to concentrate on providing Web & Internet Services to small buinesses and the personal dialup portion was sold. After a not-so-spectacular run with several other partners as Chelsea Data, Rob & JT began and continue to run Bizgrok, Inc in 2002.

Rob has become an avid Swing Dancer. He is teaching & DJing now. He can be found dancing almost anywhere he is - at home, ay work, or at the grocery store. The dancing is great exercise, and Rob is trying to persuade JT to swing into better health as well. Having watched Helen & Howard jitterbug and swing - we can safely say that the dancin' is in the genes! Rob's been collecting music and DJing for radio for over a decade. He began DJing for Lindy Hoppers shortly after he started dancing in 2001. Rob can be found DJing, mixing sound, organizing events, and teaching Lindy Hop to beginners throughout Connecticut as well as at regional events like Boston Tea Party, New Year's Eve Dance Extravaganza, Summer Hummer, North Atlantic Dance Championships, and the Beantown Summer Camp. Rob is the Music Coordinator for the Connecticut Lindy Exchange (CTLX). You can listen online to Rob's "station" at live365.com.

Music is an integral part of everyday at Bizgrok and at home for both Rob & JT. Approach the conjoint air space around the stairway to Rob's apartment and office and you'll likely be listening to Rob's music with your right ear and JT's with your left!

Rob's our resident walking musical encyclopedia and can (and will!) tell you who wrote the song, who first recorded, which version is best for lindy dancing and . . . but JT just sings along with the ones she likes.
